A structured day designed to keep kids engaged, moving, and learning — with built-in breaks, snacks, lunch, park time, and plenty of mat time.
9:00 AM
Drop-Off
Drop off the kiddos! Sign in on the iPad. Students settle in and socialize before the day officially begins. Camp days count toward earning stripes for current 10P Tigard members.
10:00 AM
Jiu-Jitsu Instruction
Coaches demonstrate and teach techniques ranging from basic to advanced. Students participate in structured activities, drills, and skill-building exercises.
10:15 AM
Water & Snack Break
A rest and rehydrate period before the next round of training.
11:45 AM
Live Drills & Rounds
Interactive games and group activities designed to encourage teamwork, problem-solving, and physical movement — fun on the mat while building camaraderie and social skills.
1:15 PM
Lunch & Local Park Time
Students enjoy a meal break followed by outdoor recreation. We walk the campers to one of two local parks — Metzger Park or Metzger Elementary — arriving by 12:00 PM for playground and ball games, departing around 1:00 PM. Our route runs through residential neighborhoods to minimize walking on busy roads.
1:30 PM
Break
A short rest period so students can recharge before afternoon activities begin.
2:00 PM
Anti-Bullying & Kindness
Students learn what bullying is, how to recognize it, and effective ways to address and avoid it — paired with a daily kindness focus.
2:45 PM
Fun Games & Live Rolls
Jiu-jitsu-based games and live rolling (a.k.a. sparring). Students get to apply their techniques with an emphasis on competitive fun.
3:00 PM
Wrap-Up & Rewards
Reflection on the day's activities and distribution of rewards or acknowledgments for effort and participation.
3:30 PM
Pick-Up
Time for students to be picked up from the gym. Parents check kids out at the front desk.
More Than A Day Off School.
Real Coaching
Camp is led by the same coaches who teach our regular kids program — credentialed Jiu-Jitsu instructors who know how to work with kids.
Structured + Fun
A balanced day: technique, live drills, lunch, park play, anti-bullying lessons, and rolling. They come home tired in the best way.
Stripes Count
For our current kids program members, camp days count toward earning stripes — so the week of camp is also a week of progress.
Reserve Your Spot.
Camp fills up fast — earlier sessions tend to go first. Send us your registration and we'll confirm your child's spot and walk you through what to pack.
